CHO provides "emergency" food, not long-term food service. Donations of grocery store gift certificates are always welcome and are used for the purchase of items for those with special dietary needs and infant formula. We also accept donations of canned food. Please call for an appointment to drop off donations. The CHO food closet is located at Vienna Court Condos, 133 Park St. NE, Vienna, VA, 22180. Food donations may also be dropped off in the donation box inside the Park Street entrance of Vienna Presbyterian Church. During the Christmas season, the Food Chairman organizes adoptions for some families and sets up a gift and food certificate program for others who are in need in our area. This is accomplished with the support of many organizations, churches, schools and businesses. All CHO services may be contacted at (703) 281-7614 or cho@cho-va.com. The CHO Clothes and Food Closets can be reached by public transportation using the MetroBus 2T and 15M routes or the Fairfax Connector Bus 463 route. Each of these buses stops on Route 123 (Maple Avenue in Vienna) near CHO. Traveling south and west along Route 123 (away from Tysons), the bus stop is just past the intersection with Glyndon Street. TD Bank will be on the right side of the road and Outback Steakhouse will be on the left side of the road. Traveling north and east along Route 123 (toward Tysons), the bus stop is just past the intersection with Mill Street. Whole Foods will be on the right side of the road and Weichert Realtors will be on the left side of the road. Once at the bus stop, continue in the same direction the bus was going to the intersection with Park Street. Vienna Presbyterian Church is the large white church to the north of that intersection. The CHO Clothes Closet is directly across Park Street from the entrance to the church. Walk down the sidewalk between the brick buildings and the CHO Clothes and Food Closets will be the first door on the left.
